A couple of weeks ago I headed down to Odaiba for the first time and wandered around some of the main attractions. It's a very artificial and commercial area, with some great shops and interesting sites. Unfortunately my pictures don't do any justice as the rainy season has brought nothing but muggy days with grey skies and clouds.
The 30th anniversary of Gundam was this year and for the event they actually have an actual scaled ratio Gundam standing in the middle of one of the parks. The construction has been completed and it's rumored to also light up and move later on. After seeing this I honestly don't believe there isn't anything Japan can't do.
